Why Lingua Scientia?
Lingua Scientia means “the language of science”. In an increasingly interconnected world, translation plays a critical role in the sciences – facilitating communication across linguistic and cultural barriers as researchers work to move science forward. Good scientific translation requires more than just knowing two languages. It requires an understanding of the subject matter, creative problem-solving, and a willingness to explore subtle meaning differences to find just the right phrase to explain a concept. Scientific language and style have their own expressions and phrasing that are different from everyday language. As such, they require a unique combination of scientific and linguistic skills to provide quality translations for scholarly texts. My combination of education and experience has made me an expert in the language of science, and I am ready to help you communicate effectively.
